What if the timing changes?
This is expected. Military timelines shift, and these sessions are designed with flexibility in mind. When you book, we’ll talk through anticipated windows rather than fixed times, and I’ll remain in close communication as plans evolve.
What if my kids are overwhelmed or emotional?
That’s okay! And completely normal. I don’t expect perfect behavior or big reactions. I photograph what unfolds naturally and guide gently only when needed. Some of the most meaningful images come from quiet moments, not posed smiles.
Do you pose during these sessions?
I step back during the initial moments to allow reunions or goodbyes to happen naturally. Once things settle, I’ll offer light guidance to help create images that feel connected and flattering without interrupting the emotion of the moment.
What should we wear?
I’ll provide simple guidance ahead of time, including how to coordinate with uniforms if applicable. The focus is always on comfort, movement, and connection; not matching outfits.
Can extended family be included?
In some cases, yes. If grandparents or additional family members will be present, let me know during booking so we can plan accordingly and ensure the session remains calm and intentional.
How many images will we receive?
You’ll receive a curated selection of hand-edited images that reflect the full story of the session, not just the highlights.
When will we receive our gallery?
Your gallery will be delivered within two weeks. I understand how meaningful these images are and prioritize timely delivery.
What if the moment feels too emotional to photograph?
I will always respect the space and emotion of the moment. If at any point it feels like the camera should step back, it will. Your experience comes first!
